Yin Yoga/Yoga Nidra w/ Wade Adams

This Sunday, Nov. 2, at CMAC HQ, Wade Adams will be guiding a Yin Yoga / Yoga Nidra class at 5:30pm.

Yin Yoga is the practice of holding postures for extended periods of time to allow the release of myofascial tissue (all the little bits that hold bones, muscle, and tendons together).

Yoga Nidra translates to Yoga Sleep. It is an ancient practice that is a conscious sort of sleep that allows the brain to enter into all stages of sleep without actually drifting off.

🎶 Part of a traditional Yoga Nidra is a visualization portion. Rather than speaking you through a visualization, he will be playing music and allowing that to guide your dreaming brain wherever it will go.

Entry is $5 per person. Any additional donations will go directly to CMAC.

Note: Yoga Nidra is done best with a yoga mat, several blankets, and bolster (a pillow). Come dressed in your comfiest and warmest clothes as your body temperature can drop up to 5 degrees while participating in yoga Nidra.
