RECURRING EVENT: Mondays, June 9, June 30 & July 28, 2025 | 3-4:15pm
Living in a remote area can make instrument care a challenge, but with a little knowledge, you can keep your instrument in top shape!
Join Courtney La Zier, former owner of Creede’s local music shop, for an informative and hands-on session on basic instrument maintenance. A well-respected regional musician, Courtney holds a wealth of knowledge from his time as a curator and shop owner. He’ll share his essential tips for keeping your instrument tuned and ready for anything—even when the nearest repair shop is over an hour away.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned musician, Courtney will walk you through the most important steps for proper care, cleaning, and basic repairs. Expect to learn how to troubleshoot common issues, prevent problems, and keep your instrument performing at its best. We encourage you to bring your instrument(s) for hands-on demos, but our instruments will also be available for learning.
Free to attend—donations are always appreciated.
All ages and experience levels welcome.
RSVP not necessary, but feel free to let us know you’re planning to be there HERE.
