Join CMAC for a heart-lifting hike through the hills of Creede this Independence Day Weekend, on Friday, July 3 @ 12 PM.
We’ll gather at the East Willow bridge/giant blue info sign just past the Underground Mining Museum (there’s quite a large space for parking there immediately right after crossing the little bridge) before setting off together on the beloved Up & Over Trail. Along the way, we’ll pause to sing campfire classics, patriotic tunes, and rounds; songs meant to echo across the valley and bring people together in spirit and song. It’s a family-friendly, feel-good way to cap off the holiday weekend. And we’ll provide lyric sheets, so you only have to take your phone out if you feel the urge to snap those picture-perfect moments!
No formal concert, no stage, just voices, mountains, and the joy of singing outside with neighbors and friends.
This event is free & casual.
For ALL members of the family (yup, even your dog & mini-burro can come too!)
Dress for trail conditions and bring water!
