The Stables at the Rio Grande

Kick up your heels and join us for a good old-fashioned Town Barn Dance!

Led by the renowned dance caller Andrea Earley Coen—returning to Creede by popular demand—each night features a nostalgic mix of traditional social dances including square dancing, contra dancing, two-step, and more. No experience? No problem! Andrea will walk everyone through the steps, and the focus is on fun, not perfection.

This event features live music provided by Colorado old time, bluegrass & country musicians Ryan Drickey (fiddle), Avery Augur (banjo), Donny Chavez (guitar), KC Groves (double bass).

Held at the beautiful Stables at the Rio Grande, this summer series is open to dancers of all ages and abilities—year-round locals, summer residents, and visitors alike. Come early, grab a seat, and get ready to dance the night away!

Light refreshments will be available for purchase on-site.
